Kenya Wallace grew up in Robersonville, NC, a small town near the East coast. A small town girl, with big hopes and dreams, Kenya always had an affinity for learning, writing, and dancing. Little did she know how God would use her interests to honor Him.
Kenya's journey includes being a former elementary teacher and administrator, an author, a conference speaker, a liturgical dancer (Kingdom Dance), a choreographer, a licensed minister (Wake Chapel Church, Raleigh), and founder of Pretty Girls Praise, Inc and Kingdom Academy of Dance. She has been honored to have been invited to speak and dance at a host of conferences and engagements throughout North Carolina & the East Coast.
Kenya holds a B.S. in Elementary Education from Elizabeth City State University, a Master of School Administration from North Carolina Central University, and an M.Ed with an emphasis in Curriculum & Instruction from Grand Canyon University. Presently, Kenya is completing a PhD in Psychology with an emphasis in Cognition & Learning from Grand Canyon University. She is a member of Alphi Chi National College Honor Society, ACHI Women Supporting Women Association and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
Each of these experiences has helped Kenya to foster positive connections that inspire and push her to reach her full potential. In turn, she pays it forward by doing the same for others.
